This lovely baker is from the long discontinued Summer Strawberries range of oven to table Portmeirion pottery.

This dish is a slight second. There are some minor production marks.

Fully backstamped with the Portmeirion vitreous mark.

Summer Strawberries

The Summer Strawberries design was launched in 1980 and was designed by Susan Williams-Ellis's daughter Angharad, who spent hours drawing and painting pictures of her mothers strawberry plants, as the inspiration for this design.
This design proved to be very popular especially with the Italian market and the design was finally retired in 1999.
