A Vintage Portmeirion Summer Strawberries Utensil Jar, Number 4 Size, By Angharad Menna.

This utensil jar is from the long discontinued Summer Strawberries range.

There are minor usage marks inside and a small stain to the base.

The jar has the Summer Strawberries backstamp.

Summer Strawberries

The Summer Strawberries design was launched in 1980 and was designed by Susan Williams-Ellis's daughter Angharad, who spent hours drawing and painting pictures of her mothers strawberry plants, as the inspiration for this design.
This design proved to be very popular especially with the Italian market and the design was finally retired in 1999.
