A stunning vintage Portmeirion Coffee Pot in the Jupiter design by Susan Williams-Ellis.

This glorious coffee pot is in the brown colourway of the Jupiter design and is becoming a lot harder to find.

The glaze on this coffee pot is quite heavy and there is a production glaze drip on the handle.

The coffee pot has the Portmeirion rubber stamp backstamp. 

This Serif design was introduced in 1964 and was the follow up design to the very successful Totem range.

Jupiter

Produced from 1964 Jupiter was designed for the new serif shape of pottery. The design was named Jupiter due to its space age feel that was in keeping with the times. Production of this range continued until at least 1968. They were produced in brown and the more desirable blue. with some other trial colours produced along the way.
Very collectable and beautiful design.
