This design was introduced in 1975 and withdrawn in 1983.

Susan Williams-Ellis decided to add her own bird to the range of oven-to-tableware in 1975 and this was her only attempt at animal modelling for Portmeirion Pottery.

Made in number 1 size, the duck has two chicks beneath the wings and sits on a nest like the chickens.
The ducks are discretely signed beneath the tail "Susan Williams-Ellis 1975"
These are RARE and owners tend not to part with them as they bear the signature of Susan herself
