A Portmeirion Nursery Ware Alphabet Bowl.

A rare Portmeirion nursery ware bowl with a hand coloured illustration by Richard Doyle from the 1840's.

This is a very rare example of an early Portmeirion design, in the original presentation box.

There are the painters marks on the bowl.

The bowl has age related crazing all over and the box is in used condition with minor stains, please see the photographs.

The backstamp is the early Portmeirion Ware stamp.

This item is supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity by Stephen McKay.
