A Portmeirion Nursery Ware Alphabet Oatmeal Bowl And Mug Set.

A rare Portmeirion nursery ware oatmeal bowl and mug set with hand coloured illustrations by Richard Doyle from the 1840's.

This is a very rare example of an early Portmeirion design, in the original presentation box.

There are the painters marks on the items.

The bowl and the mug are in excellent condition. The box is in poor condition with staining, please see the photographs.

The backstamp is the early Portmeirion Ware stamp.

This item is supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity by Stephen McKay.
