Paul Cardew "Suzie Floozy" Collectors Club Teapot – 2003 

This Paul Cardew “Suzie Floozy” teapot from 2003 is a vibrant example of Cardew’s signature style. Originally released as a special edition for the Collectors Club, it features mother duck Suzie and her three ducklings, sitting on a separate lily pad.

This particular teapot has experienced some damage in the past to the duck foot and one ducklings head, which has been historically repaired. The teapot remains a cheerful and characterful addition to any collection.

A charming conversation starter and a nostalgic throwback to one of Cardew’s most memorable characters—perfect for display or as part of a larger Cardew collection.

Cardew Studio Range

The Cardew Studio range of products are very special items. The complex and astounding results were designed by Paul Cardew and ONLY produced at the pottery in Woodmanton Farm, England. Each incredible design from this range had very limited editions, some as low as 500 and only ever a maximum of 2,000. Hours and hours of work went into the production of these premium editions, making them truly works of art. Due to the highest levels of manual studio skills that were lavished on these designs, each piece is totally unique with no two pieces being the same. Although completely contrasting in their designs, from Disney to Eterni-Tea, each one is unparalleled in it's demonstration of quality, technique and individuality. Paul Cardew's reputation and incredible skills as a sculptor and potter, along with his ingenuity and wit, have made this, the Cardew Studio range, THE most elaborate and collectable and he has ever produced. 

Personally Signed Teapots

Many of the teapots we sell have been personally signed in gold by Paul Cardew himself and will be stated as such in the details. At special events that Paul Cardew held to promote the latest teapot designs, he and other members of his design team that attended also personally signed teapots bought by customers at the event. These team members included Chris Bennett - Design Studio Sculptor, Gary West - Mechanical 3D Sculptor and Tom Johnson - Studio Manager, who signed his signature 'Teapot Tom' and Claire who took over from Tom after he left. Any personally signed teapots are highly sought after, with more signatures the better!
