Velocipedes

An interesting and quirky design range of mono cycle, bicycle and tricycle illustrations collated from various sources including a 19th century copy of The Strand magazine. Some of the illustrations were redrawn by Susan with great effect, and when the range was launched in spring 1968, the jaunty images printed on jazzy bright glazes of yellow, blue and orange caught the eye and attracted many shoppers. The black transfers were also produced on a variety of white ware.
